Presentations overview:
We actively encourage practitioners and researchers to submit a presentation for the summit and share their ideas and experiences. We are a small industry and rely on the active involvement of GURSIG members to make the summit a success.

This year, there are two tracks for presenters at the GUR Summit:

Experienced practitioners. The GUR Summit has an increasing number of experience practitioners. Submitting experience practitioner topics is a great service to the Games User Research community and strongly desired by the conference committee.

Games User Research Fundamentals. The GUR summit attracts and supports a wide range of professionals, including those seeking foundational knowledge of the field, its applications, and practices. To provide for these foundational knowledge and practice needs, the Research Fundamentals Program is designed to offer a real sense of what individuals new to the field need to start practicing.

In both tracks, there are two submission lengths:

20 mins
50 mins
How to submit a presentation:
Step one: Download the following two documents.
2013 Presentation Submission Template
2013 Bio Template
Step two: Complete the word documents. This should take 2 – 3 hours.
Step three: Email the completed documents to submissions@gur2013.org
If you have any questions during the submission process, please email submissions@gur2013.org.

Have an idea to engage with the GURSIG community and find the presentation format too restrictive? Great! We want to support you! Please reach out to us directly with your out of the box ideas at submissions@gur2013.org.
