Job: Lecturer in Games at RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia

The School of Media and Communication seeks a Lecturer who will
contribute to the teaching and research efforts of the Games Design
discipline area. The Lecturer will be responsible for carrying out
teaching activities and for maintaining and advancing their scholarly,
research and/or professional capabilities relevant to the discipline.

The position requires demonstrated ability to teach in the discipline
area of Games Design and/or Game Studies at an undergraduate level and
significant industry experience in game development. The successful
applicant should be skilled as a teacher, knowledgeable about design
teaching and design practice, possess a demonstrated commitment to
research and a collaborative work ethic.

The Lecturer is expected to actively promote the program by
establishing and maintaining memberships, links and partnerships with
academic, industry and professional communities. The incumbent will be
expected to work collaboratively and collegially with fellow academics
within the teaching team, and update colleagues and students on
developments in their subject area or specialisation.

The School reserves the right to recommend an appointment at a lower
level depending on the successful applicant.
