Job: Full-Time Faculty in Game Development at Penn State Behrend

The Computer Science and Software Engineering Department at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, invites applications for a non-tenure track position starting in Fall 2015. The department is looking for an enthusiastic, talented faculty member with demonstrated technical and artistic accomplishments to help develop the college’s Game Development program. The successful candidate will play an integral role in teaching our established courses, developing new courses, and contributing to interdisciplinary programs and projects. Applicants should have in-depth knowledge and skills in game development processes including but not limited to: game art and animation, game design, game programming, and/or computer graphics as demonstrated by scholarly work, teaching experience, and a portfolio of created works. The candidate is expected to have a strong commitment to undergraduate education and to developing a program of research scholarship. A master’s degree or Ph.D. is required. Salary is competitive.
