Jobs(2): Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Game Art & Computing for Games (Falmouth University)

Tanya Krzywinska writes:

I’d like to draw everyone’s attention to two new full-time games posts we are looking to recruit for within the Games Academy at Falmouth University.

We are looking for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Games Graphics/Game Art and a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Computing for Games. You will teach on our BA Digital Games course and/or on our new BSc Computing for Games.

We are located within the spectacular landscape of Cornwall in the UK, not far from glorious beaches and serious surf. There is a growing game development community on campus, with Anti-Matter Games resident close-by and as well as game start-ups from our market-led incubation scheme, Launchpad.

We welcome applications from those with experience of working in the games industry who are interested in developing a career in teaching in a research, as well as more traditional game academics and researchers.

The Games Academy delivers studio-based games education and includes a world-class ERA research team focused on AI and procedural generation for games, lead by Professor Simon Colton.
