Job: Lecturer in Games Computing, Lincoln UK

Hi all, we’re currently looking for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer (UK
equivalent to Assistant Prof) to join us on a permanent basis at the
School of Computer Science at the University of Lincoln, UK.

This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in continuing an
academic career in game studies, or moving over from an industry role.

Games teaching and research at Lincoln is multidisciplinary, and
although the position is situated within the Computer Science
department, we teach a lot of game design and game studies modules. A
technical background is not required.

You would join the very active games research group at Lincoln, where we
publish regularly in journals and conferences like DiGRA, ACE, CHI PLAY
and CHI.

Candidates should possess a PhD or equivalent experience, ideally in
computer science and preferably with a track record in the delivery of
Games Computing courses such as games programming, graphics programming,
games engines, AI in games, game design, game studies or social
computing. Experience of commercial computer games development would be
an advantage. You should be able to demonstrate a commitment to
maintaining the University’s high standards in teaching and learning.
