The Department of Media Study at the University at Buffalo is seeking
artist/scholar applicants for a position as Visiting Assistant Professor
of Game Studies. We’re looking for candidates whose background combines
an experimental approach to technology and game design with a critical
stance toward the impact of games and gaming. Areas of particular
interest include but are not limited to the intersection of games and
VR/AR, locative media, performance, social media, physical computing, and
narrative forms. The candidate will teach courses in game production and
analysis, and related areas of Media Study suitable to their
specialization.
