Membership FAQs

I joined the main DiGRA conference this year and thought I am now a member. Is this correct?

Yes, by joining one of our annual conferences, you will automatically become a member as you will pay the membership fee as part of the conference fee. Please note that this does not apply to conferences organised by chapters or chapter event.

How do I know when my membership ends?

Your membership ends 12 months after the date of registration if you signed up through the website and 12 months from the first day of the conference if your registration was part of conference fees (most likely and most typical case). You can check your account status here.

I have paid my chapter membership fee, does it mean I am now a DiGRA member?

By paying the local chapter membership fee that some of our chapters collect you are a member of that specific chapter. To gain all the DiGRA membership benefits, you would additionally need to sign up for DiGRA through this site or by participating one of our annual international conferences.

Do you offer an institutional membership?

Yes. Please contact us if you are interested in covering all your institution’s researchers with one membership subscription.
