We encourage submissions describing industry projects, late-breaking advances and work-in-progress reports from ongoing research. The paper should describe the underlying ideas and motivations for the work in sufficient detail to allow the reviewers to assess the potential contribution of the work. Submissions are evaluated on the basis of originality, innovation and contribution to conference program diversity. Work-in-Progress submissions allow for face-to-face presentation of the work at the conference providing significant opportunities for authors to discuss details of their work with conference attendees. We strongly encourage authors to consider showcasing their work through a demonstration, game experience and/or video that connects to the themes and topics of the conference.

SUBMISSIONS
Submissions are made up of a paper and a poster. Optionally your submission may include a demo description or video. The papers are up to 2 pages long in the two-column SIGCHI Papers Format. The poster should be designed to fit and be readable in either A0 format or 36” x 48”. Videos should be designed to take no more than 5 minutes and demonstration details (e.g., layout and technical requirements) should be described in a short additional document.
Posters, demonstrations and videos will be showcased during the CHI PLAY poster and demonstration session. Due to the short review cycle, there should be nearly no changes between your submissions and the camera-ready final documents, except in rare circumstances.
Both the paper and the poster should communicate:
–      A concise description of the work
–      Implications of the work for the CHI PLAY community
–      Recommendations for further investigation and/or incorporation into practice
