Continue Conference (May 23rd & 24th, 2017, Nottingham, UK)

The National Videogame Foundation

‘Continue 2017’

Annual Conference

Nottingham, UK

May 23rd & 24th, 2017

The National Videogame Foundation’s unique annual conference returns. Supported by key strategic partners including the British Council, Continue remains an important exploration of the role and value of videogames in contemporary culture. Building on the success of last year’s conference, this essential event will showcase case studies, new ideas and best practice in videogame commissioning and engagement across the broader cultural sphere. By developing & sharing strategies for aiding the cultural development of videogames, Continue will demonstrate their potential value to arts and heritage audiences.

Galleries, Festivals, Arts Agencies, Broadcasters, Advertisers, Policy Makers, Educators and Developers will take this rare opportunity to come together to discuss and develop policy, but also to reinvigorate thinking around what games are and could be to their audiences.

This year, the conference theme is collaboration. Focussing on three areas of discussion around this topic, Continue delivers both progressive thinking and pragmatic advice.
