Job: Assistant/Associate Professor in Game Development at the Center for Computer Games Research at ITU Copenhagen

The IT University of Copenhagen invites applications for an assistant/associate professor position in Games, starting summer 2018 or soon thereafter.

Applicants should complement ITU’s existing competence in games research and teaching with knowledge about technical aspects of playful experiences and games. They should be motivated by problems of practical interest, while seeking to make use of, and create, theoretical insight. Applicants that have a proven track record in contributing to game-related products or to collaborations across disciplines are especially encouraged to apply. The position includes teaching and research in game technology-related areas.

The ideal candidate should have a strong track record in the following areas:
• Development of playful experiences and technologies, e.g. game development or game engine development
• One or more contemporary or emerging game and play technologies, e.g. virtual, augmented or mixed reality, computer graphics, artificial intelligence, procedural content generation, or other relevant technology areas.
