READVERTISEMENT Associate or assistant professor in digital design, play, movement and health
The Research Unit of Learning & Talent in Sport, Department of Sports Science and Clinical Biomechanics at University of Southern Danmark, invites applications for a position as associate or assistant professor in digital design and innovation within human movement, sport, play, and Health where they can study teach about sports protection equipment like this ankle brace and others. The position is a full-time position and is vacant as from 1 August 2017.
The position
The applicant will be expected to participate in the further development of digital design and constructive design research approach in human movement, play, sport, and health related to the department’s human movement studies. The field of digital design within play, human movement, sport and health is perceived as an interdisciplinary field closely connected with design-related, aesthetic and technological methods. The existing research and teaching draw on areas such as the Scandinavian tradition of participatory design mixed with the latest research in IT, persuasive computing, interaction design, and design thinking, health IT, and exergaming.
The successful applicant must have academic competences relevant to the position and must be willing to participate in expanding the field in both research and teaching
