“Deep Games” combines theory with practice, lots of case studies and hands on design exercises on how to make games about the human experience using metaphor and allegory. It can be used as a textbook for game design classes or just as a source of inspiration for designers. I tried to make it as accessible as possible, yet still provide theoretical underpinning.
