New DiGRA Diversity Working Group

The DiGRA board is proud to announce the creation of a diversity working group.  This group will be co-chaired by Alyea Sandovar and  Rachel Kowert. There are two other members of the board that have joined the group Will Robinson, and Hanna Wirman.

Alyea Sandovar and Rachel Kowert write:

The primary goal of the group will be to promote diversity within DiGRA. To this end, we plan on developing a variety of initiatives over the next few months and in order to present them to the board prior to our general meeting in May (at DiGRA 2015 in Germany). Included in these initiatives is how to best increase the attendance of scholars from outside the North American, Northern European, and Scandinavian regions.

We wish to invite any other members of the network with interest in diverse perspectives and scholarship to join us. You can email us directly at asandovar@email.fielding.edu or rkowert@gmail.com to express your interest and your time availability over the next couple months.

We look forward to hearing from you and sharing our ideas!

Mil gracias,

Alyea and Rachel
