Parallel Worlds Videogames Design and Culture Conference

Announcing the initial line up for the third Parallel Worlds conference here at the V&A, in conjunction with our major exhibition Videogames: Design/Play/Disrupt

Tickets – £35 full price, £30 concessions, £15 student

Following on from last two sell-out events, this day long international conference brings together leading game designers, artists, engineers and thinkers, whose work is connected by the worlds we build through games and play.

2019 speakers confirmed so far include include Chris Kujawski, Principal Designer of the Xbox Adaptive Controller; Amanda Johnston-Batt from Framestore’s rides team and independent game designer Jenny Jiao Hsia, whose work features in ‘Videogames: Design/Play/Disrupt’. The conference will also be followed by a V&A Friday Late event, where playful installations, arcades and exhibits will take over the entire museum for one night only.
