PhD Position: PhD scholarship opportunities at Birmingham City University, UK

Dear all,
I’d like to draw your attention to PhD scholarship opportunities at Birmingham City University in the UK. There are 50 awards available across the university, and we have specified projects which are of particular interest, including a project focused on the connections between toys and games and education in the English Midlands (original home, if you are interested in such things, to the Chad Valley Company, Palitoy and Airfix).

Please pass on these opportunities to your contacts as you see fit. Details of the programme can be found at http://www.bcu.ac.uk/research/research-students/opportunities/overview (the games project appears on the Faculty of Arts, Design and Media tab, under Media and Cultural Studies, although note it is co-supervised between Media and Education). Note also that the window of application is short: the deadline for full applications is 30 June 2016.
Best wishes,
– Nick
