There are no restrictions regarding the applicants’ academic disciplinary background or preferred methods as long as the research plan is convincing and in synergy with the applicant’s prior experience (especially with regard to game and/or gamification research). As is clear from the profile and strategy of Tampere University of Technology, beyond academic ambition, research plan should indicate the potential impact of research on society and industry.
