POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE, Comparative Media Studies/Writing, to work in the area of diversity and inclusion in esports and gaming. Will work closely with Professor T.L. Taylor (and her external collaborator Morgan Romine) on various projects of both a research and programmatic nature. To get a sense of their work in this domain, visit AnyKey.org. The particular focus will be a new initiative to develop an “Inclusion 101” training curriculum for college esports organizations, as well as fieldwork on diversity in collegiate gaming clubs and esports tournaments. Output will range from concrete guidelines and whitepapers to academic publications. Will also perform other duties as requested.
