The Strong has recently added a couple of new, major collections and a new research fellowship devoted to the study of games.

The Strong has also added another fellowship for research at the museum into play and games. The Mary Valentine and Andrew Cosman Research Fellowships support scholarly research about games of all types and related topics of play. Like the existing Strong Research Fellowships, applications are reviewed three times a year and the next deadline is May 30th.
