The Call for Games for the 2027 Play4Change Award is now open.
The award has three categories:
– Original game for social change
– Game-based project as a driver of social change
– Scientific research on games as a tool for social change
Submissions can be made in English or Italian. Participation is free, and the deadline is 31 December 2026.
The awards will be presented at Play Festival del Gioco in Bologna, Italy, from 23 to 25 April 2027.
Play4Change is promoted by the GAME Science Research Center, in collaboration with Play Festival del Gioco and Game in Lab. It aims to support and recognise research, development, and the use of games for social change.
